WVFRM worked with CDPP to create a suite of animated explainer videos aimed at making legal and court processes more accessible to the public. Recognising that legal jargon and formal documents can be a barrier for many, CDPP commissioned WVFRM to visually communicate each stage of the court system, from initial charges, to hearings, to verdicts and beyond,in a simple, human-centred way. WVFRM
Using animation instead of live-action or static text, we crafted each video to guide viewers through complex processes step-by-step. Clear narration, deliberate pacing and structured visuals help demystify the legal journey and support comprehension for a wide audience. By doing so, the project enhances transparency, builds public trust and strengthens CDPP’s communications strategy. WVFRM
These explainer videos are now a cornerstone for CDPP’s public-facing resources. a reliable, professional and accessible way for citizens, partner agencies, and stakeholders to understand what to expect from the court system. The series reinforces CDPP’s commitment to clarity, community education, and transparent legal communication.
CDPP needed a way to communicate complicated court processes and legal procedures to a broad audience in an accessible, engaging format. Text-heavy documents or formal reports were not enough to ensure clarity or engagement for members of the public unfamiliar with legal jargon. WVFRM
