Project overview

The brief and the story behind it

The aim was to move beyond theory and show how the program creates meaningful change in early learning environments. To achieve this, we interviewed educators who shared how the training improved their understanding of child safety, boosted their confidence and gave them practical tools to support safer learning spaces. We also captured the perspective of centre managers and owners, who spoke about the wider benefits, from stronger safety culture to improved team communication and smoother operational processes.

Filmed in a warm, documentary-style approach, the videos combine authentic storytelling with clean visuals to ensure every message is clear, relatable and grounded in real practice. The final series provides ELAA with a powerful communication tool that demonstrates program value through lived experience, helping them inform, engage and inspire stakeholders across the sector.

How we approached it

From brief to finished film

01 / Challenge

ELAA needed a compelling way to demonstrate the real-world value of the SAEW program. While the program was delivering strong results, they lacked authentic, human-centred content that showcased how educators and centres were benefiting in practice, making it harder to communicate impact to new partners and stakeholders.

02 / Solution

WVFRM produced a case study video series featuring interviews with educators, centre managers and service owners. By focusing on personal stories, practical outcomes and lived experiences, the series clearly showed how the SAEW program improves safety culture, boosts educator confidence and enhances centre-wide processes. The videos were crafted with a warm, documentary-style tone to keep the stories honest and relatable.

03 / Outcome

The final series provided ELAA with a powerful set of testimonial-style videos demonstrating real impact across the sector. ELAA can now confidently showcase the measurable benefits of the SAEW program through the voices of the people who experienced it, helping to build trust, increase program adoption and strengthen engagement with new and existing partners.
