For PayPal’s recent PayPal Frenzy campaign in March, WVFRM was brought in to support the content team with rapid-turnaround social video editing across three live campaign nights.
The brief was clear: create a suite of polished, platform-ready vertical video assets that could be delivered within hours, ready for same-night or next-morning publishing. With a mix of professional production footage, on-the-ground iPhone content, vox pops and branded end frames, the project required a fast, flexible post-production workflow that could keep pace with the energy of the campaign.
Live campaign content moves quickly. The goal was not just to edit videos fast, but to elevate the existing recap format into something sharper, more engaging and more suitable for a major brand campaign.
PayPal needed content that could feel immediate and reactive while still maintaining polish, brand consistency and momentum across the campaign rollout.
The deliverables included:
Each wrap video needed to be edited on site and delivered within approximately 3-4 hours, giving the team content they could publish that night or the following morning.
WVFRM worked across three nights on the ground, editing campaign assets in real time as content was supplied by the team.
The creative direction centred around pace, clarity and energy. The videos needed to feel social-first, but not disposable. Each asset had to capture the excitement of the PayPal Frenzy campaign while keeping the edit clean, branded and easy to engage with on mobile.
We focused on:
The workflow was built around speed without sacrificing quality. By editing on site, we were able to keep the production moving, respond quickly to feedback and deliver assets while the campaign was still fresh.
Across the campaign, WVFRM delivered a suite of vertical social assets designed for rapid rollout.
Three 30-60 second portrait videos were created to capture the atmosphere, activity and highlights from each campaign night. These were edited and delivered within hours, giving the PayPal team timely recap content for social publishing.
Six 30-40 second portrait vox pop videos were created from iPhone footage, designed to feel authentic, immediate and social-native while still aligning with PayPal’s broader campaign presentation.
WVFRM also created short 20-30 second CTA wrap videos, helping close the campaign with clear branded messaging and a strong final push.
The PayPal team were very happy with the final video assets created for the PayPal Frenzy campaign.
The project showed how a streamlined editing workflow can help brands move quickly during live campaign periods without compromising on quality. By combining speed, structure and a strong understanding of social-first storytelling, WVFRM helped PayPal turn campaign moments into polished video assets ready for immediate distribution.
For brands running events, activations or time-sensitive campaigns, fast-turnaround video editing can make the difference between simply documenting what happened and creating content that keeps the campaign moving while audience attention is still high.
"WVFRM came on board at very short notice and delivered across a large-scale project with a heavy editing workload. Their calm, positive energy made a big difference under tight turnarounds" - Jasmin Malam - Head of Production, Edelman
