SMSF Audits provides independent audits for self-managed super funds, working closely with accountants and SMSF administrators across Australia.
To support a key step in their audit process, WVFRM created a short animated explainer showing accountants how to create an assertion and link it to BGL.
How we approached it
01 / Challenge
Linking an assertion to BGL is an important step in getting an SMSF audit-ready, but it is a technical, multi-step process that is hard to explain in an email or a written guide.
SMSF Audits needed a simple way to show accountants exactly what to do, so files arrive complete and the audit can move without back-and-forth.
02 / Solution
WVFRM produced a 45-second animated explainer with a professional voiceover. We scripted the process step by step, then used clean motion graphics to show each action on screen, from creating the assertion to linking it in BGL.
The pace and language were written for a busy accountant audience: short, clear and focused on what to click next.
03 / Outcome
SMSF Audits now has a short, reusable video that explains the BGL assertion process in under a minute. It gives accountants a clear reference they can watch any time, and gives the SMSF Audits team an easy link to share instead of explaining the process one client at a time.
